SubGrey Support Hub
SubGrey is dedicated to offering free support and
advice to all Kent based “performing arts” students,
who are studying for their qualifications. Throughout
England, educational institutions operate an
extensive support and commercial network that
enables their students access to industry
opportunities. However, after significant research, we
have found that Kent has none. We are here to fill
that void.
We are currently seeking a permanent base of
operations within the Swale and Medway area, but
offer this innovative service to all Kent based
performing arts students, as well as local actors and
technicians.
We offer a wide range of services. From simple advice
and support, to guidance with creating portfolios,
workshops, project work, rehearsal support and
much more. Our Hub is established to encourage,
inspire, motivate and create opportunities to those
who seek a future career within performing arts.
Our Support Hub will act as a “Safe Space” to all those
that need help to succeed in the future.
>Networking<
We want to hear from you!
As part of our Support Hub development, we are
currently creating a “Network” of companies and
organisations to help students access essential
support, within industry.
Once gaining their qualifications, the problem that
every student faces is “opportunity”. As the Kent
education system lacks an effective industry network,
students fail to access opportunities
because they have no “Real World” experience. They
fail to gain any experience, because they are not
offered the opportunity, due to the lack of
experience. SubGrey are here to help fill that void.
SubGrey already have a number of industry related
companies, within its network. From casting, to talent
agencies. From rehearsal space to theatrical venues.
From marketing to printing and much more.
We are avidly seeking a wide range of varied
operations to add to our Network, over the coming
months.
SubGrey Supporters
SubGrey Productions wishes to thank GlassBox
Theatre, Mid Kent College, Storage King (Gillingham)
and TFW Print for their generous support. Their help
proved invaluable to the theatrical tour of All Clear by
Eugene Stickland.
We will continue to feature these generous
companies, as they are now part of our network of
SubGrey Supporters.

Film Funding
We realise that the current financial climate is
somewhat precarious, but we offer a fantastic
opportunity to partner SubGrey and make this very
important movie.
We know we can offer a return on any investment,
based on our research, costings and the lucrative
digital opportunities on offer.
As a Co-Producer, you would share in the potential
rewards that would be gained from investment.
So, see “Our Prospectus” page for further details,
or call PD Slaughter on 07421 222521.

6th February 2023
Well, it’s been a busy couple of months. We can confirm that we
are currently in conversations with a few organisations, for funding.
The current working title of the independent film is “Wait For The
All Clear”. Discussions are in the early stages, but optimistically
positive.
Stay tuned for more updates soon!
22nd December 2022
Well, 2022 is coming to an end and I think most people can’t wait
to see the back of it.
It seems that many theatres and cinemas are still struggling and
still well below the pre-pandemic levels, for ticket sales. So, lets
hope 2023 offers better ticket sales and encourage the public to
attend events.
On a more positive note, SubGrey Productions have completed all
pre-production research and analysis. We are now applying to a
large number of commercial, charitable and wide ranging
organisations, for the funding of the All Clear independent film.
This includes attending multiple festivals and submitting to
various competitions, with a planned online streaming and limited
cinema release in 2024.
To give prospective financial backers a taste of "All Clear Project"
we have put together four clips of the 2021 stage play tour, for
general view, on YouTube.

There will be further updates in a month or two. Until then, on
behalf of SubGrey, I want wish everyone a happy, healthy and
peaceful Christmas and a more positive and prosperous New
Year. See You In 2023.

6th June 2022
After speaking to multiple local community theatres, it is evident
that many are still struggling and a few more have closed forever.
Audience attendance and revenues are still below pre-pandemic
levels. So sadly, there are no current plans to produce theatre
projects in 2022.
Additionally, with turbulent world events and financial instability,
our filming project of “All Clear” is still in pre-production. We are
furiously searching for outside investment and are planning full
production later this year. If we get any new news, we will update
you.
10th March 2022
As the situation with the pandemic and other worrying world
events, we are still unable to return to normal operations. The
theatre and entertainment sector is still highly unstable and
audience figures are still very poor, compared to pre-pandemic
figures. So, there is no decision on when we will re-commence
activities. But SubGrey is working, behind the scenes, to plan the
filming of “All Clear”. This is scheduled to start this
summer/autumn.
More updates soon!
15th January 2022
Due to the continuing uncertainty caused by the Omicron virus,
SubGrey will be extending it’s winter break, until the situation
improves. Please stay safe and we will update soon.
25th December 2021
SubGrey wishes everyone a very Happy Christmas and hoping for
a hopeful New Year.
Please take care of yourselves and each other.
21st November 2021
Due to the continued pandemic, we are taking a winter break. We
are closely monitoring the situation and will provide future
updates, as things progress.
17th Oct. 2021
Our new look website has now been published. It has a fresh look
with new content.
13th Oct. 2021
Continuing its mission to support Kent based performing arts
students, SubGrey Productions is now planning to create a
“Support Hub”, to be located in the Swale/Medway area. It aims to
offer a free and comprehensive support network in 2022.
9th Oct. 2021
The SubGrey Theatre Company has now completed its inaugural
theatrical tour of “All Clear” by Eugene Stickland. SubGrey
Productions are now planning an “Independent Film” of this black
comedy drama, in January 2022.
