The Story So Far . . . The SubGrey Theatre Company are also “Not For Profit” theatre group, incorporating a wide range of highly talented actors and technical staff, who have now completed its inaugural tour of “All Clear” by Eugene Stickland. We are currently planning an “Independent Film” of the play. This second phase of our project will incorporate the use of performing arts and media students, who seek a future in Theatre & Film. They will work along side professional actors to create a memorable movie production and experience considerable growth, as participants within the project. However, due to the pandemic and recent world events, we have been forced to delay some of our other projects. We are currently seeking funding for the film production and hope to start phase two (filming) in the Autumn of 2024. We intend to release “wait for the All Clear” (a full length independent feature film) on social media platforms, and streaming services by 2025. This release will include entry to film festivals, competitions and a limited Cinema release. We will showcase the broad spectrum of rich unknown talent, that deserve this opportunity.Our Next Endeavour -
About “wait for the ALL CLEAR”
Our next project is an independent film production of the Black Comedy Drama. “All Clear” written in 2004 by Eugene Stickland. It is a thought provoking and socially relevant story, The play serves as a stark warning and prediction of current/future world events. The story is even more relative to today’s audiences. It tells the tale of a family indefinitely trapped in their home and reveals the slow but inevitable disintegration of a dysfunctional family.
